We've moved multiple times during the pandemic (NYC to California, then CT to Westchester) and had some pretty miserable experiences (never using Schleppers again) until we found JB Moving.

Our real estate agent recommended JB Moving, and it was honestly pretty flawless from start to finish. They sent an incredibly professional team of 6 guys who helped us pack and move to our new home in Westchester. Arrived on time, placed drop cloths and protective padding on the floors, nothing was broken or damaged. We bought the guys pizza and tipped generously - we were SO grateful to have a good moving experience. I will be recommending them to everyone in the area. JB Moving provided excellent service. My move involved several pieces of antique furniture. The job team lead by Jarrell and Juan made sure all pieces big and small were all wrapped/packed and loaded to ensure there was no damage caused during the move. The team made sure we were completely satisfied before packing up to go and the owner Joe called the next day to make sure we were satisfied.

I had a bad experience with this mover. The problem was the their terrible customer service from their "General Manager". I obtained their service for a whole house move. The moving guys they sent seemed quite good. However, after we moved into our new place, I went back to our house to clean up and noticed a big ding in our woodwork around a doorway that was caused by the mover. When I reached out to them to see what they could do, I was told that since I signed the paperwork saying that everything looked good, I was basically out of luck. I guess the lesson here is to really check over the place you move out of and the place you move into before you sign their paperwork. BTW, after they left  I also notice a ding in the woodwork of our new place. I wouldn't recommend this company, the general manager was very rude.

From the moment they arrived until the very last item was placed exactly where we wanted it, JB's crew was respectful, responsive and 100% reliable.  The men worked tirelessly and diligently to attend to every detail of the move and we could not have been happier with the results.
